Student Bursary Application
The Children’s Organ Transplant Society has established a bursary to provide educational funding to youth who are awaiting a transplant or who have received a transplant. The $500 bursary will be awarded annually to a student for the pursuit of post-secondary education or training.

Who is Eligible?
The successful applicant is:
A BC Resident;
Awaiting or has received an organ transplant;
A Grade 12 student currently attending high school;
Enrolled in a post-secondary program for ongoing education or skills training for the fall.
How to Apply
To apply for the bursary, complete the online application on this page, send in a video explaining your transplant journey and future educational pursuits, or call our Executive Director to share your story. Any of these three options will qualify you towards the bursary.

Application Deadline
Please submit your application and supporting documentation no later than May 15th of each year.
Selection Process
The Board of Directors of the Children’s Organ Transplant Society will evaluate each application and will select the successful candidate by June 1st of each year.
