11th Annual COTS Classic Golf Tournament Recap!

It’s good to be back on the course!

After a hiatus brought on by COVID-19, we were thrilled to return to the course and host our 11th Annual Golf Classic on May 18th. The weather was gorgeous, and Quilchena’s Golf and Country Club’s hospitality was excellent. The event was sold out at total capacity, with over 144 golfers! Our COTS volunteers kept patrons hydrated and smiling with multiple hydration and prize stations throughout the course. After 18 holes of fun in the sun, we returned to the clubhouse for drinks, dinner, and the various auctions.

COTS’ 2023 ambassador, Charlie was also introduced and stole the show with her spunky personality and infectious smile. Charlie’s mother, our executive director Debbie, and Dr. Sanjiv Gandhi. gave moving speeches, reminding us that these wonderful children and families are the reason COTS exists. The support our organization has received from the medical community, local businesses and philanthropic groups continues to impress and humble us and we look forward to further growing our programming and outreach to reach more families in need.

The event concluded with a live auction hosted by former professional football player and COTS supporter Marco Iannuzzi. Generous donors raised over $115,000.00 for COTS vying for vacation packages to Victoria, Banff, Mexico and more. A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, supporters, donors, golfers and sponsors who make this event possible. We were thrilled to bring back our biggest fundraiser of the year and look forward to next year!
